Seventh seeds beaten as Welily survives …

The seeds came in to play on Day Two with the top half of the draws at the DPD Hub.

Both seventh seeds departed as Amanda Sobhy took out Alison Waters in three impressive games and Declan James beat Mohamed Abouelghar, also in straight games.

There was aslmost a massive upset as Millie Tomlinson took world #1 Raneem El Welily all the way to a decider, and the day finished with an entertaining hour long match which saw Miguel Rodriguez recover from losing a marathon first game to deny Daryl Selby.
